Video Marketing
Video marketing is a great way to not only market your business, but also build instant credibility with your audience. With the advances in technology, it is easy and affordable to do video marketing. Plus, with more and more people getting higher speed connections to the Internet, people can now watch your video.
If you look at the way the Internet has developed, you will notice it is very similar to traditional media. The only thing that is different is the amount of time it took to go from print, to audio to video. And while video has been around for a while, it has not be accessible by most consumers until recent years. Now is the best time to do video marketing.
When looking to do video marketing, there is a lot to consider, but there are three basic things to make sure you take into consideration. First, don't try to over do it. Keep the video about one topic and keep it around one minute in length. If it runs a bit long, don't worry, but try to keep it under 2 minutes at the absolute most. Plus, the longer the video is, the bigger the file is and some sites have a maximum size that they allow.
Second, when decided what to make your video about make sure the topic in demand. Video marketing doesn't work if no one wants to watch the video. Make sure that it's something that people are looking for and will find value. If people find value in it, they will tell other people about it, building your audience for you.
The last thing to consider when doing video marketing is the tags and landing page for your account on the video sites. Notice I said sites. I highly recommend setting up an account on as many video sites as you can. The more sites you are on, the more people will see the video and link back to you. With that in mind, make sure you use tags/keywords that relate to the topic of the video. Also make sure you have the same landing page for each account. This will help you show up better on search engines.
So to recap how to set up your video marketing, first keep your video about one topic and about a minute in length. Make sure the topic is something that people are interested in and make sure that your tags and urls are consistent on all of the places you post your video.
I hope this helps you create an effect marketing tool. And the last thing to remember is to smile. It is video after all. Is your business ready for it's close-up?
